Coeur d'Alene Scenery

Kobe and I often go down to the lake in Coeur d'Alene for walks, and on one of these walks I took some pictures! My mom also took some pictures on my camera when she was here visiting. Here are some for your viewing pleasure...

The lake is like the central hub of activity in CdA. People swim in the water, sail and fish on the lake, and often just sit on the shores and enjoy life. Planes even take off from and land on the water!

I find it interesting how people seem to be strongly drawn to the water. I know it's calming for me to listen to the waves hit the shores and to watch people interact with the water. Kobe needs to get over his fear of water, though. I always wanted a dog who will chase balls and jump in!

  1. I love your pictures Shannon! I completely understand what you were saying about the water. I have a spot by the river here in town where I used to go to relax, and really missed it once I moved away!
